Humans are emotional beings. Aristotle said that man is a social animal, but I think that he is a social animal only because he is an emotional animal. Well, no challenge to all time dear Aristotle, but I am sure that no human has ever existed on this planet whose life had been without the experience of any good or bad emotion. The sweetest of us like the Alice or Emma have plenty of them but even some most dreadful of us will also not be devoid of them.
A human heart is such a nice fellow as it is the harbouring ground for every emotion. Every emotion and all the experiences with emotions get absorbed by our Heart. The testimony to it is that when you propose a girl you dearly love; I bet that your heart will pound like never before. Or on the sad side, if your love lies, your heart will definitely cry. So the first joy you will feel will be in your heart and also if the pain strikes you, that will strike nowhere but at your heart. The heart never deceives; it absorbs every thing from the delight of being loved to the misery of having been deceived in love.
The thing is that every emotion will entail some experience. Good, bad or worse but you will have an experience, which perhaps you will never forget. This is the beauty and also may be the bane of experiences, that you never, ever forget them. Experiences built upon feelings and emotions shall remain with you till your body breaths the last sigh. This is human, none can escape from it. Material losses and gains will be forgotten but not the losses and gains made in the more subtle form deep inside your heart. But I think it will be the only treasure of our human life, the more you have experienced the better is your title to claim a life well lived. As my good elder brother sometime said to me that being young or being old is not a matter of age. I agree that it is a matter of experiences. I may be older to an old person if my experiences in and with life have been more diverse than him. However, both hindsight and foresight tell me that experiences are not and will not be good only, they will also be painful and at times cruel and brutal. They might be so great that you will be simply on the top of the world and they might be so bitter so as to leave you weeping somewhere in the unknown corner of this world. But that is what human life is, full of emotions, full of myriad experiences.
You will cry, you will laugh and then you will also die but make sure that before your life says good bye to you, you have accumulated enough treasure so as to not complain on death-bed that death has betrayed you in wanting to have you so young.
